From last year, CADECA has been working on the process of improving its structure, giving to the Bank System 102 offices with the means and resources operating in them, redirecting its chain towards the touristic places and others with a great number of visiting tourists.

Today we count on 79 Branches and 94 Exchange Houses with 1529 employees in total, representing a 72,8% the women. According to the year 2019 we are smaller, but despite the external factors hitting CADECA’s management, we have become more profitable, fast and efficient, showing this in our confrontation and fight against COVID 19, together with the people and our government for our revolution.

From the beginning of the disease in our country, we have offered our services on the first contact line with the people coming from abroad (airports and hotels), having not a single worker sick and keeping the service under the conditions demanded in every moment, complying with the indications of our Defense Council.

 

Due to the reduction in the commercial areas and the elimination of the operations in the Cruises Terminals because of the USA blockade, the tourism contraction and the development of the electronic means of payment, there haven’t been growths compared with the previous years, but we are working to fulfill the plan approved for the year.

So far we have been accomplishing the Incomes and Benefits Plan, with a cost per peso lower than the plan, and this added to the overproduction work have permitted keeping an adequate average salary.

We have paid special attention to the recovering, maintenance and repairs of the assets, especially the buildings of Branches and Exchange Houses, giving a better image, with better conditions to offer a quality service.Along with the closure of the touristic operations due to COVID 19, the Exchange Houses located in Hotels and Airports were temporally closed too. That’s why we have a total of 745 employees suspended, working in banks, SEPSA and in other entities. We keep offices open at Jose Marti and Juan Gualberto Gómez airports, offering services to passengers, collaborators and crew of humanitarian and commercial flights.

All audits from 2019 until today have resulted evaluated as satisfactory or acceptable and we are working on the plans to improve the problems marked. Supervision and control are kept and enforced, detecting mistakes and indiscipline in operations, being all properly evaluated, applying sanctions and responsibilities against the offenders.

The main working lines of CADECA are the diversification of the service, the operational integration with the Banks of the System, the improvement of the Internal Control System, the automation of all working processes and the development of new alliances for the canalization of familiar cash remittance, without neglecting the innovation works for the development of the electronic means of payment.

CADECA  moves forward  and goes for more.
