CADECA celebrated its 28th anniversary

It all started in 1994, a project that might have seemed ambitious at the time, but little by little it was inserted into the popular imagination.

The beginnings, as they say, are always complicated, they are paths that many times the challenges they may bring are not known, even so a group of wonderful people decided to embark together on that journey called CADECA.

Today we reach 28 years, an anniversary that in these last two years has had an impact on our entity and has made us understand that we must value what we have.

COVID made us rethink new ways of projecting ourselves with a common denominator, the union between all of us. CADECA saw the need to expand its range of services, in search of new strategic sectors. We still continue in the daily battle to demonstrate the importance of Casas de Cambio.

It would be impossible to name the wonderful people on this great ship, there would be some to name, impossible not to mention Félix Rodríguez, the brothers Vale and Gloria, who, although the years go by, continue to be figures that are heard in the corridors for their dedication and dedication.

Never stop, never settle until the good is better and the best is great. This is probably the summary of CADECA in recent years, years that have required giving the best of us.

One more anniversary showing that hard and honest work can take us to a better place, because, although we were afraid of change, we are committed to launching ourselves into new spaces with different goals.

Cuba is going through great problems and even so we have managed to stay at the top of our efforts and dedication. Today we say goodbye to all those who have somehow passed through each of our spaces, but above all the infinite gratitude to those who still believe in the illusion of improvement, in the desire to continue raising the figure of CADECA.

To throw the stone without fear of making mistakes and above all to accept that each one of us who is present here today is different, but we work to get one thing forward.

Let's make a parenthesis and think that COVID taught us that life is more ephemeral than we think and that embracing who we love, saying what we want are among the most valuable things we have and we are not aware of. That's why allow yourself to get emotional when you feel like it, live from the beautiful memories of CADECA, you will be harvesting others, think that the strength of each one of us comes from what we are capable of projecting and, then, when we manage to see this, we will look with more meaning 26 avenue and its facilities belong.

A simple tribute to the one who left us in the most unfair way, an exceptional human being and sacrificed for his work, would be well deserved. Kiki, who is in heaven today watching us all, would surely be having a banquet now, doing what she liked the most, with her peculiar voice, her thunderous affection and, above all, her sense of humor. For you, Kikito, a kiss and a hug from all of us who had the opportunity to meet you.

For now, we have to continue grouping stories to tell, work to do, laughter to celebrate the day when black predominates, lunches to share, work topics to discuss and mainly celebrate the joy of being alive, which is undoubtedly the best lesson. that leaves us

Thank you to each one of you for being, for staying, for questioning when you disagree on something, but above all for not abandoning the ship which we have a premonition will reach a safe harbor and, right there when we have our last breath left. we will know that we have stepped on solid ground.

Congratulations.
