From May 3 to 7, the International Tourism Fair (FITCUBA 2022) was held in Varadero, Matanzas. With different venues in the famous tourist area, Plaza Las Américas and other spaces, FITCUBA has dressed up an event of great importance for our country, mainly in the current context.

In this event, important institutions of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) converged, such as: Palmares, Ecotur, Infotur, Amisytur, Turarte, Cubanacan, Havanatur, Transtur, Infotur, in addition to other entities such as: ETECSA, GeoCuba, Morro Cabaña Historical Museums, Palco , Caracol, Havana Club, among others.

For CADECA, representing the Banking Financial System is quite a challenge, the first time that it is inserted in such a complex scenario where organizations of great positioning in the country concur.

Even so, Casas de Cambio S.A was present from the beginning to the end, presenting one of its newest services: Sale of Prepaid Cards in Freely Convertible Currency. Positioning the service and making it known was the great challenge for the entity, with highly trained cashiers and supervisors, flyers that were in line with CADECA's institutional image, explaining the advantages of acquiring prepaid cards, allowed for accurate steps in promotion.

The Matanzas Provincial Directorate of CADECA continues to demonstrate its capacity to face challenges and its organization in terms of work, workers committed to their work, interested in generating income for their management, but above all, making visible what CADECA does today.

We are aware of the great challenges that lie ahead, complex markets marked by COVID 19, a decrease in tourism, an aspect from which the main source of income for the island emerges, the tightening of the economic blockade, etc. Even so, this entity seeks alternatives to develop new demand services for the national and foreign public, unites in the forms that emerge from non-state management and above all reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a service of speed and efficiency.
